قسم الجراحة والتخدير والاشعة

 يختص قسم الجراحه بتدريس ثلاثه اجزاء هي الجراحه و التخدير و الاشعه للحيوانات الكبيره و الصغيره. و يتم تدريس الماده علي أربعه فصول دراسيه علي مدار عامين للفرقتين الرابعه و الخامسه , حيث يتم تدريس الجراحه العامه و التخدير للفرقه الرابعه و ايضا الجراحه الخاصه و الاشعه للفرقه الخامسه.

 

ويختص قسم الجراحه ايضا بتدريس العديد من المقررات المتخصصة والاختيارية فى جميع نواحى مادة الجراحه وفى مختلف الحيوانات ، لطـلاب الدراسـات العليـا بمختلف مراحلها وذلك بنظام الساعات المعتمدة.?

 

 

 

 

Mission Statement for the Surgery Department.

 

The mission of the Surgery Department is to develop a diverse academic community that encourages exemplary human qualities in order that the art and science of veterinary surgery may be imparted to students, expanded by research, and extended to the public for the benefit of animal and human health to meet the changing needs of Kafrelsheikh, Egypt, and the world.

Specifically, the mission of the Surgery Department is:

1.     To provide an education program leading to the attainment of the Bachelor of Veterinary Science Degree with veterinary surgical experiences. The educational program will be designed to ensure that students:

a.     Acquire a basic understanding of surgical manipulation of diseases processes in a variety of animal species.

b.     Acquire skills in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of animal diseases.

c.      Develop problem-solving abilities.

d.     Acquire the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

e.     Acquire the skills and attitudes necessary for continued growth and development.

2.     To promote postgraduate education by offering:

a.     Formal graduate programs (Diploma, Master, and PhD).

b.     Advanced training courses in surgical specialties.

c.      Continuing education opportunities.

3.     To promote research on animal health and disease requiring surgical interference, and related activities.

4.     To provide expertise in diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical services.

5.     To serve as a knowledge resource in meeting the needs of the public for diagnostic, therapeutic, and other consultative services on animal health problems.

6.     To support the goals of Michigan State University by extending teaching, research, and service where appropriate to university programs and activities outside the College of Veterinary Medicine.
