أن يكون قسم الصحة والطب الوقائى بمواده الثلاث ( سلوكيات الحيوان والدواجن ورعايتها – صحة الحيوان والدواجن والبيئة – الامراض المشتركة ) بكلية الطب البيطري، جامعة كفر الشيخ من الأقسام الرائدة محليا وإقليميا وعالميا ويكون له القدرة على تحقيق أعلى درجات المنافسة والتميز والتطوير المستمر في تعليم الرعاية وتصميم المسكن الحيوانى والامراض المشتركة والبحث العلمي المتعلق بعلومه وخدمة المجتمع.
The Department vision
The Department of Hygiene and Preventive Medicine with its three subjects (animal and poultry behavior and management, animal, poultry and environmental Hygiene - Zoonotic diseases) at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Kafrelsheikh University, should be one of the leading departments locally, regionally and internationally. It has the ability to achieve the highest degree of competition and continuous distinguish and development in learning animal care and animal housing design, Zoonotic diseases and scientific research related to its sciences and community service

The Department Mission
The Department of Health and Preventive Medicine with its three subjects (animal and poultry behavior and management, animal, poultry and environmental Hygiene - Zoonotic diseases) at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Kafrelsheikh University, offers an advanced educational programs and scientific research aimed at graduating an excellent veterinarians and researchers with a high level of professionalism and technology to meet the requirements of in the field of animal care and hygiene and Zoonotic diseases taking into account the profession ethics and active participation in the community service.
الأهداف الإستراتيجية للقسم
- تدريس سلوكيات الحيوان والدواجن ورعايتها– صحة الحيوان والدواجن والبيئة – الامراض المشتركة لطلاب مرحلة البكالوريوس والدراسات العليا.
- تخريج أطباء بيطريين قادرين على رعاية الحيوانات المختلفة مع تصميم المزارع على المنهج العلمى لمنع انتشار الامراض المشتركة .
- إجراء بحوث علمية في مجال سلوكيات الحيوان والدواجن ورعايتها– صحة الحيوان والدواجن والبيئة – الامراض المشتركة.
- عقد ندوات و ورش عمل للأطباء البيطريين و العاملين في مجال سلوكيات الحيوان والدواجن ورعايتها– صحة الحيوان والدواجن والبيئة – الامراض المشتركة
The strategic objectives of the department
1. Teaching animal and poultry behavior and management - animal, poultry and the environmental hygiene - zoonotic diseases for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
2. Graduation of veterinarians able to care the different animals with the design of farms on the scientific method to prevent the spread of zoonotic diseases.
3. Conduct scientific research in the field of animal and poultry behavior and management - animal, poultry and the environmental hygiene - zoonotic diseases.
4. Holding seminars and workshops for veterinarians and workers in the field of animal and poultry behavior and management - animal, poultry and the environmental hygiene - zoonotic diseases
