Terms of Acceptance and How to Apply

 Announcement about opening the door for foreign students for admission at Egyptian governmental universities and institutes for the academic year 2018/2019 in the university stage

 

·         Terms of Acceptance:

 

1)      Gaining Egyptian High School or its equivalence or diploma (certificate that students get after two years post high school) with success in qualified subjects and the fulfillment of minimum of acceptance or institute for which he will apply.

2)      Foreign students do not get an acceptance from any university or institute except after they are accepted from the ministry

 

·         How to apply:

 

1)      Admission forms should be applied via the internet on the website of junior international students coordination system http://wwwwafeden.gov.eg or log in the same link via website of cultural relations and missions sector http://www.mohe-casm.edu.eg/English/index.jsp starting from Tuesday 1/5/2018 until Friday 31/8/2018

 

2)      The student should upload clear photos of the following papers on the website of junior international students coordination system http://wwwwafeden.gov.eg

 

A)    High school or diploma certificate (in addition to capabilities certificate for Saudi high school), the student’s passport should be valid.

 

B)    Information form (printed from the website)

 

C)    The students whose mother are Egyptian should upload what prove that- the student’s birth certificate- ID national card of the student’s mother.

 

3)      They should clarify this when registering data

 

4)      The student can modify his data or choices unless he/she clicks on the choice (final save)

5)      The registration will be cancelled for those who apply more than once or uploading incorrect or incomplete data or documents

6)      The results will be announced later on the website of the sector

 

7)      After the emergence of the initial result, the student will be notified via his/ her account of the website. The nomination will not be considered the final and will not be implemented only after the student applies his papers directly to his/her country’s embassy in Cairo including:

 

A)    High school certificate (*)

B)    Copy of the passport

C)    birth certificate

D)     6 personal photos

E)     Results of abilities test (for faculties that need conducting this test)

 

·         The application should be as the following:

 

A)    Students of Egyptian certificates (high school with its different types): should apply directly to general management for international students’ acceptance and scholarship with what proves that the mother is Egyptian for students concerned.

B)    Students of Egyptian mother children and who have equivalent certificates: should apply directly to general management for international students’ acceptance and scholarship with what proves that the mother is Egyptian

C)    Students nominated via embassies: should direct to their countries’ embassies so that they can complete their procedures with general management for international students’ acceptance and scholarship

 

8)      For faculties that need conducting abilities’ test for admission, the student should apply directly to them to know appointments and test performance

 

9)      Students wishing to perform central competition exam for graduates of technical diploma (3- 5) years should apply directly to Cairo University

 

10)  For students of items No (8, 9), they must have previously submitted via the website referred to

11)  For senior students (have already enrolled on Egyptian universities and institutes in the academic year 2017/2018 and years before) ,who have wished to conduct re-nomination or re-enrollment/ transfer/ enrollment transfer, should apply directly to general management for international students’ acceptance and scholarship in the ministry starting from 1/7/2018 until 31/12/2018

12)  For students transferred from Syria, Libya, Yemen and Iraq, they should apply directly to the faculty for which they want to transfer, with what proves his/her enrollment in one of its counterpart in governmental universities in one of these countries so that the student shall receive a letter of preliminary approval for the transfer directed to general management for foreign students in the ministry, but this will not be considered a final acceptance except after reviewing his/her papers with the ministry, then the student shall download these documents in addition to the equivalent high school certificate starting from 1/8/2018 on the website www.mohe-casm.edu.eg to review the students’ papers and date to see if he meets the requirements of terms of transfer to address him/her to complete the procedures.

 

  Important notice:

·         The application on the website is free starting from the student’s application until notifying him/her of the initial acceptance via his account on the website.

·         (*) for equivalent certificate, it must be certified by the Egyptian Embassy in the country from which the students has obtained his certificate or by the state’s embassy from which the student has obtained in Egypt.

·         It is limited for the student to deal with his/her first-degree relatives (father, mother, brother, sister) or representative of his/her country’s embassy in Cairo.
