Golden Medal in Barlemby Olympics

Under the authority of the president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary and the vice president for education and students' affairs Prof Dr Mohamed el Saeed Abu Walli, university participates in barlemby Olympics of Egyptian Universities which is held to coincide with the International Day for the Disabled, which was adopted by the United Nations in order to raise the level of disability awareness and the best ways to deal with, what contributes to the integration of disabled people in society, which was organized by the Ministry of youth and Sports, the city's youth in Alexandria.

As well, 21 Egyptian universities participates in this championship and they are: Azhar, Cairo, Alexandira, Ain Shams, Assuit, Tanta, Mansoura, Zagazig, Helwan, Minya, Monofia, Suez Cannel, South Valley, Beni Suef, Banha, Fayoum, Kafrelsheikh, Sohag, Damanhur, Aswan and Azhar, a total number of 450 participants of students of special needs.

It is worth mentioning that these activities in this meeting are represented in bell ball, athletics, and athletics for blind people, table tennis, volleyball and lifting weights.

University gets two gold medals in shot put and disk for the student Ibrahim Karam.
