On the sideline of cultural season and the interest of health, the Faculty of Medicine begins its first awareness seminar for diabetics on Sunday 14/12/2014 at 10 am in the Faculty of Medicine under the authority of the president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary in which many staff members will discourse. The symposium will include the following themes:

1)      Definition of diabetics and complications of diabetes

2)      Proper nutrition for diabetics

3)      Drugs of diabetes, types of insulin and methods of injection

4)      Inflammation of the nerves (numbness) and methods of treatment

5)      Causes of poor circulation and arterial thrombosis and methods of protection.

6)        Causes of high triglycerides and cholesterol in the blood
