Abstract | The main objective of this study was to identify the Impact of sugar beet technology transfer program on Farmer's knowledge at El- Hamol district, Kafr El –Sheikh Governorate.
Study data were collected from a random sample of (106) respondent as experimental sample and (103) respondent as control sample by using personal interview questionnaire.
Frequencies, percentage, arithmetic mean, simple and multiple correlation coefficients, standard deviation, partial and standard partial regression coefficients, and "T" test for comparing two means were used to analyze study data.
The most important results as following:
A) knowledge educational impact of the technology transfer program of sugar beet crop:
The results indicated that 50% and nearly 38% from tow study samples experimental and control were come in moderate knowledge with extension recommendation of sugar beet crop.
To determine the significant differences between mean of the degree of knowledge of tow study samples with extension recommendation of the sugar beet crop, results cleared that the calculated value of (T) was -3.916 and it was significant at the level of 0.001 of significant, this results refers clearly to a significant between mean of the degree of knowledge of tow study samples.
B) correlation relationship and explaining variance in the degree of knowledge of respondents experimental farmers with extension recommendation of the sugar beet crop:
The results showed that there are significant and positive correlation relationship at level 0.01 of significant between degree of knowledge and each. Of the following independent variables: degree of education of respondent, educational of respondent family, self designation opinion leader ship, and it was significant and positive correlation relationship at level 0.05 of significance with each of variables: formal social participation, innovativeness, ambition.
Also, The results showed from the multiple correlation coefficient that the independent variables together explain about 23% of variance in the degree of knowledge of the farmers with extension recommendation of the sugar beet crop.
C) The problems which face the farmers respondents from tow study samples experimental and control:
Results revealed that 6 farmers from the experimental sample respondents don't have any problems in the field of cultivation and production sugar beet crop, (approximately 3%), and the most problems important faced the experimental sample respondents were arranged from top to down as follows: the high price of raw materials production and not available in sufficient quantities Agricultural Society, lack of means of transportation and delay of crop supply, don't knowledge the bestcides and control , (80%, 70%, 45%) on arrange.
but the control sample respondents there 19 farmers don't have any problems in the field of cultivation and production sugar beet crop, (approximately 18%), and the most problems important faced the experimental sample respondents were arranged from top to down as follows: don't knowledge the bestcides and control, lack of means of transportation and delay of crop supply, the high price of raw materials production and not available in sufficient quantities Agricultural Society, (approximately 79%, approximately 74%, 55%, approximately 12%, approximately 5 %, approximately 4%, nearly 2%, 0% ) on arrange.
