Abstract | ABSTRACT
This study aimed mainly to determine the extension knowledge needs about Biological Fertilization At Kafr EL-Sheikh District, In Kafr EL-Sheikh Governorate, also determine the independent variables affecting the Using Biological Fertilization.
A well prepared and pretested questionnaire was used to collect data of this research, through personal interviews from a systematic random sample amounted 127 respondent farmers in aryanon and sheno villages from Kafr El-sheikh districts, Kafr El-sheikh governorate.
Arithmetic mean, simple correlation coefficient, multiple correlation regression analysis (step-wise) were used to analyze data statistically, in addition to frequencies and percentages.
The most important findings of this study could be summarize as follows:
1- It was found that 89.5% of the respondent farmers had either high or moderate extension knowledge needs levels about Biological Fertilization.
2- It was found that 68.5 % of the respondent farmers had either high or moderate extension knowledge needs levels about Fertilizer Biotic blogren.
3- It was found that 86 % of the respondent farmers had either high or moderate extension knowledge needs levels about Fertilizer Biotic phosphoren.
4- It was found that 93 % of the respondent farmers had either high or moderate extension knowledge needs levels about Fertilizer Biotic seryalen.
5- Results of correlation analysis recovered that there is a significant positive correlation relationship, at 0.001 level of significance between respondents extension knowledge needs levels about Biological Fertilization as a dependent variable and each of: respondent age, families individuals number.
6- Results of correlation analysis recovered that there is a significant negative correlation relationship, at 0.001 level of significance between respondents extension knowledge needs levels about Biological Fertilization as a dependent variable and each of: information sources, developmental participation.
7- Results of correlation analysis recovered that there is a significant negative correlation relationship, at 0.05 level of significance between respondents extension knowledge needs levels about Biological Fertilization as a dependent variable formal participation.
8- The results indicated that the studied indepented variables combined correlated with respondents farmers extension knowledge needs levels about Biological Fertilization as a dependent variable by multiple correlation coefficient amounted 0.706 and these studied correlated indepented variables combined explained 49.8 % from this dependent variables variation, There were three independent variables significantly affected the respondent farmers degrees of extension knowledge needs levels about Biological Fertilizion which were: information sources, developmental participation, families individuals number.
