Infection control unit 

The aim of infection control units is to provide good health care and care for patients by monitoring, controlling and preventing infection in university hospitals. These units are considered responsible for monitoring and controlling infection in hospitals.

 

The competence and duties of the committee 

- Discussing and approving the infection control executive plan

 

-Support, coordinate and implement all infection control activities

 

-Follow up on performance indicators such as infection rates in health facilities

 

- Work to provide disposables and devices for the implementation of infection control activities

 

-Supporting vaccination programmes

 

- Support the training of all workers in the field of infection control

 

- Supporting investigative procedures for epidemiological inspections
