The University of Kafrelsheikh launched a medical convoy to the village of Al-Manshiya Al-Kubra as part of the presidential initiative "Dignified Life"

 Kafr El-Sheikh University launched a comprehensive medical caravan to the village of Al-Manshiyya Al-Kubra and neighboring villages in the Qaleen center of Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate on Thursday, May 9, 2024, under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and the supervision of Dr. Abdel Razek Desouky, President of Kafr El-Sheikh University, and Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, within the framework of the presidential initiative "Decent Life" to develop the Egyptian countryside in cooperation with the Decent Life Foundation, and as a continuation of the series of caravans launched by the university in villages across the governorate.

This comes within the university's role in contributing to the implementation of the state's plan and the political leadership's directives to build generations capable of keeping pace with the serious steps of the Egyptian state in building the modern state and contributing to achieving its goals according to Vision 2030, and in belief in the university's role in serving the community within the villages of Kafr El-Sheikh governorate within the scope of the presidential initiative "Decent Life".

Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, supervised the caravan, and Dr. Wael El-Feky, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Nafea Hamada, General Manager of the General Administration of Environmental Projects, and Mohamed Salah, Director of Project Monitoring, oversaw the human medicine sector.

 

Several specialized professors from the faculties of medicine, dentistry, and nursing participated in the caravan, where a large number of citizens were examined in various medical specialties, including internal medicine, ophthalmology, dermatology, otolaryngology, women's health, obstetrics, pediatrics, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, urological surgery, neurosurgery, and more. Students from the environmental friends group at the Faculties of Arts and Physical Education also participated.

Dr. Abdel Razek Desouky, President of Kafr El-Sheikh University, confirmed the university's continued launch of much-needed developmental caravans, with a selection of distinguished faculty members representing various specialties from the faculties of human medicine, dentistry, and nursing.

The president of Kafr El-Sheikh University continues to launch medical and developmental awareness caravans to the most needy areas in all centers of Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate with the aim of conducting medical examinations and providing free treatment.

Dr. Amany Shaker, the university's vice president for community service and environmental development affairs, added that the medical caravan conducted medical examinations on 994 cases from the residents of Al-Manshiya Al-Kubra village and the neighboring villages, by a group of specialized and distinguished doctors in various fields, as part of the "Decent Life" initiative.
