Dr. Abdel Razek Desouky, President of Kafr El-Sheikh University, welcomed Counselor Mohamed Eid Mahjoub, former President of the Court of Cassation and former President of the Supreme Judicial Council, within the framework of holding a training course for students of the Faculty of Law organized by the university's Public Service Center under the title "Combating Corruption Crimes and Conflict of Interest in Public Service." The session took place at the university's theater and was attended by Dr. Mohamed Abdel Aal, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Ismail El-Qen, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Ali Sabry, University Secretary-General, Dr. Maher Abou Khawat, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Counselor Abdullah Ghallab, the university's legal advisor.
During the meeting, Dr. Abdel Razek Desouky, President of Kafr El-Sheikh University, welcomed Counselor Mohamed Eid Mahjoub, emphasizing the importance of preparing students and graduates for the job market and focusing on courses that align with Egypt's Vision 2030. These courses aim to enhance values of transparency, integrity, and anti-corruption efforts in line with the National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2030 and the role of these courses in building the Egyptian individual by supporting them with the knowledge and skills required by the job market.
In the same context, Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, highlighted the role of the university's Public Service Center in implementing the Community Service and Environmental Development sector plan by offering various courses aimed at serving the community and enhancing the efficiency of students and graduates in alignment with successful international practices in the fields of integrity and transparency.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Maher Abou Khawat, Dean of the Faculty of Law, expressed his gratitude to Dr. Abdel Razek Desouky, the university president, for his continuous support to the Faculty of Law, and appreciated the role of the vice presidents and the university secretary-general in supporting all activities and events that demonstrate the university's role in serving the community.
Dr. Ibrahim El Tahhan, Director of the Public Service Center at the university, emphasized that this course witnessed an unprecedented turnout, with 454 students from the Faculty of Law enrolled in the training course. The aim is to enhance governance principles in institutions and improve indicators of sustainable development for the entire community.
