Community Service and Environmental Development Sector Organizes a Religious Seminar on "Correcting Misconceptions Regarding the Prophetic Sunnah" at the Faculty of Science.

Within the framework of the awareness and educational role undertaken by Kafrelsheikh University and under the patronage of His Eminence the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif; Dr. Yahya Eid, President of Kafrelsheikh University; and Dr. Amani Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the university's Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, as part of the advocacy and religious guidance caravans, organized a religious seminar at the Faculty of Science, in cooperation with Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, titled "Correcting Misconceptions Regarding the Prophetic Sunnah."

Dr. Yahya Eid, President of Kafrelsheikh University, affirmed the university's keenness to organize such awareness seminars that contribute to building students' consciousness and correcting erroneous concepts, pointing to the importance of cooperation with Al-Azhar Al-Sharif as a beacon of moderation in disseminating moderate thought.

Dr. Amani Shaker also explained that the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector continue to implement advocacy and guidance caravans within the university's faculties, with the aim of enhancing religious and national values among students and confronting extremist ideas through constructive dialogue and sound scholarship.

The seminar was attended by Sheikh Reda Saad Abu Saada, General Director at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif; Sheikh Abdullah Maadawi, General Preacher at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif; and a number of the faculty's students and faculty members.

The seminar addressed several important themes, primarily the Prophetic Sunnah and its role in educating youth and correcting misconceptions regarding the Sunnah, as well as presenting the most prominent suspicions raised concerning the Prophetic Sunnah and responding to them with a scientific and methodological approach, in addition to emphasizing the authority of the Prophetic Sunnah as a primary source of Islamic legislation and its role in enhancing values of national belonging and consolidating identity.

The lecturers emphasized during the seminar that the Prophetic Sunnah represents an integrated methodology for life, calling on youth to verify the accuracy of receiving religious information from its reliable sources and not to be led by erroneous ideas or rumors that aim to distort the true religion.

At the conclusion of the seminar, a discussion was opened with students to answer their inquiries, thereby enhancing the correct understanding of the Prophetic Sunnah and confirming its role in building a balanced personality capable of positive contribution to society.
