In implementation of directives from the Egyptian state under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and instructions from His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and within the community role of Kafrelsheikh University and its commitment to supporting national initiatives aimed at enhancing health and social services, the university participated in the activities of the comprehensive free medical caravan organized under the slogan "Week of Goodness" at the Pioneers and Youth Camp in Baltim Resort City, in collaboration with the Tahya Misr Fund and the Northern Military Zone, to support primary care families in the governorate's villages.

The caravan was inspected by Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel Muti, Governor of Kafrelsheikh; Major General Staff Yasser El-Khatib, Commander of the Northern Military Zone; and Major General Tamer Abdel Fattah, Executive Director of the Tahya Misr Fund. Kafrelsheikh University's participation was under the patronage of Dr. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Acting President of the University, and supervision of Dr. Amani Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, through contributions to providing medical and awareness services and supporting health education initiatives, reflecting the university's commitment to its mission in community service and environmental development.

This was attended by Dr. Amani Shaker, Vice President of the University; Major General Mohamed Shwiki Badr, Secretary General; Brigadier General Mustafa Shwiki, Military Advisor; Brigadier General Mohamed Ahmed Yesry Youssef, Head of Organization and Administration Branch at the Northern Military Zone; Colonel Mahmoud Salah El-Din Shehata, Director of Military Education at Kafrelsheikh University; Major General Hossam Nabih, Assistant Security Director; Haytham Atiya, Head of Baltim Resort City; Dr. Mohamed Abu El-Saad, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health; Dr. Ezzat Mahrous, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports; Accountant Sayed Moslem, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity; Dr. Wael El-Faki, Dean of the Faculty of Human Medicine; and a number of executive, security, and military leaders.

Dr. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Acting President of Kafrelsheikh University, affirmed that the university's participation stems from its national and community responsibilities, noting that the university mobilizes its scientific and medical capabilities to contribute to improving citizens' quality of life, especially primary care categories. He added that such caravans embody integration among state institutions to achieve sustainable development goals and alleviate burdens on simple families.

The President of Kafrelsheikh University clarified that the caravan represents a successful model of cooperation between the university and national entities, emphasizing the university's keenness on active participation in health and social initiatives targeting health awareness and providing integrated free medical services.

For her part, Dr. Amani Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, indicated that the university participated with free treatment, and the caravan included comprehensive medical services in numerous specialties—"Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, Dermatology, Obstetrics, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, and Orthopedics"—alongside implementing health education programs and early disease detection, in addition to supporting primary care families through accompanying humanitarian and social initiatives, contributing to strengthening the social protection umbrella in Kafrelsheikh Governorate. She confirmed the university's continuity in organizing and supporting medical and awareness caravans across the governorate's villages and centers, fulfilling its community service role.

Notably, the caravan targeted providing approximately 30,000 free medical services through 20 mobile clinics encompassing over 18 medical specialties, alongside launching the largest clothing campaign, including distribution of 60,000 clothing items, 70 tons of food supplies, 12 tons of meat, and 6,000 furniture pieces, in addition to distributing medical hearing aids and wheelchairs for the differently abled, supporting primary care families, and achieving social solidarity principles.
