The foundation of the Graduate Employment Services Office at the university
was approved by the University Council (Session 97) to help graduates find jobs
and connect them with the labor market.
· Objectives: Secure jobs for graduates, build a human resources database,
track graduate employment status, provide necessary skills training, and
coordinate with relevant civil society institutions.
· Tasks: Maintain a link with graduates, offer continuous development
opportunities (training, publications, events, Graduates Day), and help
unemployed graduates connect with employers.
· Organizational Structure: The office in each faculty would be under the
supervision of the Dean and the Vice Dean for Community Service. It would
consist of three departments:
1. Graduates Follow-up Department
2. Studies and Human Resources Development Department
3. Employment Services Department
· Graduates Follow-up Dept: Create databases, coordinate with relevant
parties, design alumni networks, organize the annual Graduates Day.
· Studies & HR Development Dept: Conduct studies on labor market needs,
unemployment among graduates, and required specializations.
· Employment Services Dept: Coordinate between job seekers and
employers, advertise vacancies, organize annual "Job Days," and facilitate small
projects for graduates.
