 Former Deans of the Faculty:

• A presidential decree of the University President was issued in January 1991,

appointing Prof. Dr. Mostafa Abdel Aziz Mohamed as Dean of the Faculty, and he

remained in office until his retirement on July 23, 1995.

• On August 17, 1995, a decree by the University President appointed Prof. Dr. El-

Sayed Mohamed Fattouh as Acting Dean of the Faculty, followed by another decree on

December 25, 1995, appointing him as Dean.

• Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Mohamed Fattouh was reappointed for a second term as Dean on

December 16, 1998, for a period of three years.

• On January 1, 2002, a decree by the University President appointed Prof. Dr.

Mahmoud Abdel Nabi El-Saify as Dean of the Faculty until December 30, 2004.

• On March 30, 2005, a decree by the University President appointed Prof. Dr. Bahi

Hussein Sorour as Dean of the Faculty.

• On December 3, 2006, a decree by the President of Kafrelsheikh University appointed

Prof. Dr. Ali Abdel Kader Tolba Mansour as Dean of the Faculty, and his appointment was

renewed on December 3, 2009.

• Kafrelsheikh University Presidential Decree No. (4702) dated November 28, 2012,

appointed Prof. Dr. Abdel-Razek Youssef Abdel-Aziz Desouky as Dean of the Faculty,

effective December 3, 2012, for a period of three years.

• Kafrelsheikh University Presidential Decree No. (8112) dated December 3, 2015,

assigned Prof. Dr. Abdel-Razek Youssef Abdel-Aziz Desouky, Professor of Parasitology, to

act as Dean of the Faculty for the 2015/2016 academic year.

• Kafrelsheikh University Presidential Decree No. (509) dated June 19, 2016, assigned

Prof. Dr. Shawky Abdel Hady Mahmoud Abdel-Gawad, Professor of Physiology and Vice

Dean for Education and Student Affairs, to carry out the duties of Dean of the Faculty for

the 2015/2016 academic year.

• Kafrelsheikh University Presidential Decree No. (509) dated June 19, 2016, renewed

the assignment of Prof. Dr. Shawky Abdel Hady Mahmoud Abdel-Gawad, Professor of

Physiology, to continue carrying out the duties of Dean of the Faculty for the 2016/2017

academic year, or until the issuance of the presidential decree appointing a new Dean.

 

• Presidential Decree No. (125) dated March 18, 2017, appointed Prof. Dr. Ismail Ismail

Ibrahim El-Sayed, Professor of Theriogenology, Reproduction and Artificial Insemination,

as Dean of the Faculty for a period of three years.
