President of Kafrelsheikh University Announces the Launch of Kafrelsheikh National University in the Academic Year 2025/2026 with 13 Faculties Offering 43 Programs Aligned with Global Standards

Dr. Abdel Razek Desouky, President of Kafrelsheikh University, announced that the university is fully prepared to commence studies at Kafrelsheikh National University starting from the academic year 2025/2026. The university will begin with 13 faculties offering 43 programs across various disciplines, all designed according to the latest international standards. The faculties include: Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Physical Therapy, Veterinary Medicine, Nursing, Engineering, Computers and Artificial Intelligence, Science, Agriculture, Business, Languages and Humanities, and Arts and Design.
Dr. Desouky emphasized that the university possesses the necessary facilities and educational infrastructure to accommodate students from Kafrelsheikh Governorate and from across Egypt.
He also stated that the university aims to provide high-quality educational and research services at affordable costs, while establishing partnerships with prestigious international universities to deliver world-class education.
He noted that the academic programs and curricula were designed in accordance with Egypt’s National Academic Reference Standards (NARS) and internationally accredited benchmarks. The university seeks to support the knowledge economy by focusing on applied scientific research that offers solutions to societal and economic challenges.
Dr. Desouky affirmed that the university’s educational model is built on innovation and critical thinking, preparing graduates equipped with the skills needed to compete in both local and global job markets through a balance of theoretical study and practical application.
He also highlighted that the launch of studies at the National University is part of Egypt’s strategic vision to expand access to higher education and provide advanced educational opportunities that support sustainable development.
He added that early registration for admission to the university’s faculties for the 2025-2026 academic year will open soon, with official announcements about registration procedures and tuition fees to be made exclusively through the university’s official website and social media platforms.

• Faculty of Medicine: Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery
• Faculty of Pharmacy: Pharm D, Clinical Pharmacy
• Faculty of Dentistry: Bachelor of Dental Medicine and Surgery
• Faculty of Physical Therapy: Bachelor of Physical Therapy
• Faculty of Veterinary Medicine: Programs in Food Safety, Pet Medicine and Surgery, Veterinary Drugs and Biological Preparations
• Faculty of Nursing: Bachelor of Nursing
• Faculty of Engineering: Mechatronics, Renewable and Sustainable Energy, Digital Architecture, AI Engineering, Structural Engineering
• Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence: Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics, Artificial Intelligence, Bio-AI, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Digital Crime Analysis
• Faculty of Science: Petroleum Geology and Mineral Exploration, Applied Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Nanoscience and Technology
• Faculty of Agriculture: Agricultural Biotechnology, Protected Agriculture Technology
