The laboratory aims to advance the educational and research processes,

serve the community, and promote environmental development through the

Service Objectives

Diagnosis of various diseases using real-time PCR technology.

  • Isolation and identification of genes associated with enhanced milk production, meat yield, and fertility in animals using gene sequencing techniques.
  • Conducting productive research activities in tissue culture and gene transfer to produce genetically improved animals that are disease-resistant and adapted to harsh environmental conditions.
  • Engaging in therapeutic research related to stem cells and genetic modification.

Educational Objectives

  • Organizing training courses and workshops on the operation of the laboratory’s available instruments.
  • Providing opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students to visit the laboratory and use the equipment relevant to their academic courses and research projects.

Research Objectives

  • Making the laboratory’s advanced scientific instruments and modern technologies available for conducting highly precise and time-efficient analyses and studies in scientific research.
  • Opening new avenues of scientific research by utilizing the vast capabilities and advanced equipment available in the laboratory.
  • Establishing partnership and twinning agreements with other local and international research laboratories to conduct joint research projects and obtain collaborative research grants.
