During the events of the first
environmental week and in the presence of Prof Dr Ashraf Abed el Aziz, the dean
of the faculty and Prof Dr Shreif Ali Taha, the agent of the faculty for the
affairs of community service and environment development, a seminar about anti
addiction is held in the faculty and Dr Mohamed Alam from the anti addiction
fund of the Egyptian cabinet speaks about addiction as an organismic, psychic
and physical disease that leads to the loss of health, money and spawn.
Moreover, the addict reaches to a case that loses every thing and deserts his
basics and morals because of addiction, so this fund is formed to remedy and
fight addiction, takes the responsibility of protection and remedy and does
field studies about addiction in Egypt.
Also,
he adds that there is a protocol with the vice president for the affairs of
community service and environment development to make training courses for the
students about how to remedy the addicts and there are forms distributed for
who want to volunteer in the fund and it will be the first one.
