Kafrelsheikh University wins the seventh place at the level of Egyptian university and place No585 at the level of world universities in Scopus ranking for 2017 which is one of the strongest classifications of scientific research bases in the world. This excellence has been achieved within the interest of the university of excellence in education and scientific research and seeking toward changing the identity of the university to be a university that takes care of applied researches for the service of community. This classification depends on number of criteria that can be summarized as follows:
