Department vision:

The Department of Sports Psychology at the Faculty of Physical Education, Kafrelsheikh University, seeks to improve and modernize services in the educational process and to advance and develop them inside and outside the department in a way that keeps pace with modern-day standards with sustainable governance controls to improve the quality of the graduate in personal, moral and leadership traits and raise his level in the fields of sports psychology to meet the requirements of the labor market. Internal and external assistance in conducting scientific research in the branches and fields of sports psychology in order to achieve distinction and local and international competition and contribute to serving the surrounding environment and the local community in accordance with quality standards.

The department contributes to creating a scientific and educational climate characterized by modernity and innovation that helps the student to form creative traits in the fields of sports psychology and to create a generation of distinguished graduates who have the capabilities and methods to train psychological skills and apply them in the sports field and raise the professional and scientific level of those working in the field of sports psychology and who are fully aware of its branches. Its areas are to emphasize the distinguished personality, whether in the research, scientific and practical aspects, to contribute to the service of the college and university, as well as the community and environmental development.

 

Department objectives:

- Objectives: To help prepare cadres of graduates with personal and leadership traits to make them able to compete in the labor market in the fields of physical education.

 

- Keeping pace with scientific and practical modernity in education through courses that reflect the nature and circumstances of society’s reality and help meet its service, professional and artistic needs in the fields of physical education.

- Strengthening the role of the Sports Psychology Department in solving problems related to physical education and sports at college and university, as well as various community sports institutions.

- Developing the capabilities, information, and skills of the department’s faculty members and researchers in the various fields and branches of sports psychology.

- Conducting scientific research and studies in various branches and fields of sports psychology to serve society and develop the environment.
