Dr Desouky: Plans for Increasing Self-Resources of Faculties and Activating the Work of Special Units


 

Today Tuesday 11/2/2020, the President Prof Dr Abdelrazek Youssef Desouky , during the deans council, in the presence of the vices of President and the deans, confirms the regularity of the educational process in the second semester and the follow-up of study in all scientific departments and also points to the completion of the work of controls and the announcement of results to students with careful review of the results.

As well, Dr Desouky announces that the university provides the faculties of health sector with a number of 2000 computers, pointing to the speedy completion of the infrastructure and all material and human preparations in the project of electronic cognitive tests at the university to implement the new system announced by the Supreme Council of Universities to conduct electronic tests in the university health sector at the first stage.

The President also stresses the need to train staff members and students on electronic tests and adhere to international standards to prepare question banks to conduct electronic tests for the faculties of the health sector at the university, within the framework of implementing the directives of President Abed El Fattah Al-Sisi, the President of the Republic, to develop the education and testing system in Egypt and raise the level of graduates of Egyptian universities, especially the graduates of the faculties of the medical group to keep pace with the graduates of international universities.

Otherwise, the council discusses putting plans to increase the self-resources of all faculties, activating the work of special units, implementing the plan of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to raise the status and ranking of Egyptian universities in various international rankings and participate actively in community service and environmental development activities, especially integrated convoys for the most needy villages.

The Council also discusses encouraging international scientific publishing, participating in global databases, especially affiliated with Scopus, and making use of periodicals, books and references on the knowledge bank.
