Today Monday 17/2/2020, the President Prof Dr Abdelrazek Youssef Desouky, inaugurates Home Economics Department Exhibition at Faculty of Specific Education in the presence of the vice president for post-graduation studies and research Prof Dr Hasan Youness; Prof Dr Amani Mohammad Shaker, the dean of Faculty of Specific Education, a number of deans, vices of dean and staff members at the faculty.
The exhibition includes students’ works of the Department of Home Economics of various clothes, embroidery, knitwear, crochet and household works, in addition to types of foods.
As well, the President Prof Dr Abdelrazek Youssef Desouky, stresses the importance of organizing such applied student exhibitions and participating in competitions to show artistic talents and encourage them to promote a culture of honest competition among students and consolidate the values of creativity and originality to qualify student cadres that are able to compete locally and internationally, praising the distinguished works presented by students and confirming that the university is keen to support the distinguished students in all fields.
Dr Desouky points out the importance of arts and student activities in developing the personality of students and that the various artistic fields play a major role in building their creative spirit, confirming that the university seeks to motivate its students to participate in various activities outside the academic study halls in order to diversify their interests, strengthen their skills and enhance the spirit of initiative on the belief of the university administration in the importance of the experiences that students gain from carrying out their activities outside the classroom
