Faculty of Specific Education hosts an Awareness Symposium by the “Dignified Life” Foundation on “Volunteer Work”.

 The university hosts a student awareness symposium for the “Dignified Life” Foundation, today, Monday, October 31, 2022, at the Faculty of Specific Education entitled “Enhancing the Voluntary Work Efforts for Universities’ Youth” in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abd El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs; Prof. Dr. Amani Shaker, the Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education; Brigadier General Ahmed Emara, the military advisor of the governorate; the Representative Hiyam Al-Tabbakh, a member of the House of Representatives - a member of the Dignified Life Foundation; Islam Abd El-Samie’ Jabr, the general coordinator of the initiative in the governorate; Prof. Dr. Rushdy El-Adawy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for Postgraduate Studies and Research, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, the vices of dean, staff members, and students.

Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abd El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs, says that the symposium is within the framework of a series of awareness seminars organized by the Dignified Life Foundation within universities in all governorates of the Republic to disseminate the values of volunteer work and community service among university youth within the framework of the presidential initiative “Dignified Life”, directing a message of thanks and appreciation to the President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, considering the initiative launched by the largest development project in the modern history of Egypt and the world to achieve sustainable development.

The Vice President of Kafrelsheikh University confirms that the presidential initiative “a dignified life” aims to enhance the spirit of belonging to the homeland and emphasize the state’s alignment with the neediest groups and the political leadership’s keenness to implement social justice, pointing to the size of the achievement and its positive impact on improving the quality of life and heralding a better future, adding that the new republic will be built on cadres of our youth, and we wish all young people to participate in the initiative for a dignified life for Egypt and a better future.

Prof. Dr. Rushdy El-Adawy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for Postgraduate Studies and Research and General Coordinator of Student Activities at the university, indicates that the presidential initiative “a dignified life” aims to emphasize the importance of volunteer work, and to attract young people to the idea of ??community and service work.

Dr. El-Adawy adds that there are various training activities provided by the Foundation for a Dignified Life, including training on skills needed by the labor market, and awareness training activities for young people in order to open direct channels of communication between the Foundation and the community, especially the youth category, adding that there is a diverse plan for activities through work groups, which includes training, development and awareness.

Dr. Shaker confirms that the Dignified Life initiative in its comprehensive concept aims to build the human being by paying attention to education and health and providing the appropriate living environment for all citizens, as well as training, rehabilitation and education through awareness seminars that primarily aim at rehabilitating the human and developing his capabilities.
