The International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) in Italian Trieste city announces about providing many funding opportunities that aim to finance research projects that will deal with the original scientific problems that should be important for host country as well as regional interests. The program provides the support for research projects in the fields of (basic sciences, human health care, industrial and agricultural biotechnology and bioenergy).

As well, this program aims to stimulate collaborative researches among Member States and ICGEB labs to support training of young scientists and facilitate the establishment of appropriate research facilities.
