 The Faculty of Specific Education at Kafrelsheikh University witnessed a distinguished academic event reflecting the remarkable progress achieved in the field of technology education during the discussion of the graduation projects of students from the Department of Technology Education and Computer Science. The projects presented innovative models and promising practical solutions that demonstrate the ability of Egyptian youth to excel and compete in the fields of technology and digital transformation.

 

The event was held under the patronage of Professor Yehia Zakaria Eid, President of Kafrelsheikh University; Professor Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; and Professor Amani Mohamed Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The event was organized under the supervision of Professor Naglaa Hosny El-Ashraf, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, and Professor Samir Ahmed Kahouf, Head of the Department of Technology Education and Computer Science, in the presence of a distinguished group of faculty members supervising the graduation projects, as well as a number of teaching assistants.

The project presentations showcased a collection of outstanding works that reflected an advanced academic standard and a genuine ability to employ modern technologies in developing innovative solutions that serve society and meet future requirements.

Under the supervision of Professor Ashraf El-Baradey, the Ather Team presented the Smart Firefighting Vehicle prototype, which is based on an ESP32 microcontroller and Flame IR sensors to detect fires and autonomously navigate toward them. The system incorporates a water pump and a four-wheel-drive mobility system, ensuring rapid emergency response, with a future vision of integrating artificial intelligence and intelligent tracking technologies.

Under the supervision of Professor Shaimaa Abdelrahman, the ONCO NOVA – NFC HEALTH CARD project was presented. The project aims to develop an intelligent healthcare system for oncology patients by integrating a smart NFC card with a dedicated digital application, facilitating secure and rapid access to medical records, improving communication between patients and healthcare professionals, and supporting continuous patient monitoring.

Under the supervision of Professor Mohamed Radwan, students presented the Energy Gateway: Clean Energy for a Sustainable Future project, which utilizes a 2-kilowatt solar power system to supply electrical outlets across university facilities and provide device charging services, supporting the transition toward clean energy and environmental sustainability.

Professor Amira Fouad supervised the Future City 2050 project, an educational simulation game that models the management of sustainable future cities through decision-making related to energy, environmental management, and public services. The game was developed using Unity and C# and incorporates indicators to measure pollution levels and citizen satisfaction.

The projects also included a Low-Cost Energy Measurement Device Using Arduino, designed to monitor electricity consumption in real time using an Arduino Nano, voltage and current sensors, a display unit, and an intelligent monitoring system.

Under the supervision of Professor Tamer Mohamed Kamel, students presented the Carbon Emissions and Green Transformation project, which aims to accurately measure carbon emissions using advanced sensing technologies that support the transition to clean energy, environmental data analysis, and sustainable development.

Under the supervision of Dr. Abeer Badir, students developed the Kafrelsheikh University Faculty of Specific Education Alumni Application, which connects graduates with the labor market while providing academic and professional services, training courses, and an intelligent virtual assistant through a modern interface built using React, TypeScript, and Supabase.

Dr. Nagwa El-Shamy supervised the Campus Navigator – College Guide Bot with Interactive Map and Route Planning project, which provides an intelligent navigation system through a Telegram bot that displays campus maps and internal routes using Python, the Telegram API, and AutoCAD, facilitating navigation for students and visitors throughout the university campus.

Professor Naglaa Hosny El-Ashraf, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, expressed her pride in the outstanding level demonstrated by the students, emphasizing that their ideas and projects reflect strong scientific awareness, creativity, innovation, and the ability to meet the demands of the digital age.

She further affirmed the Faculty's commitment to supporting students by providing a modern educational environment that encourages innovation, productivity, and scientific research. She praised the promising potential of Egyptian youth and their capability to build a more advanced and prosperous future. She concluded by praying for the continued success of Egypt's youth, affirming that the nation possesses a generation capable of making a meaningful impact, advancing sustainable development, and building a digital future worthy of the Egyptian state and the aspirations of the New Republic.
