The Faculty of Specific Education at Kafrelsheikh University celebrates the 52nd anniversary of the glorious October victories.

The Faculty of Specific Education at Kafrelsheikh University celebrated on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, the 52nd anniversary of the glorious October War victories in a distinguished ceremony that witnessed a wide attendance of faculty members and students.

The celebration was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, President of Kafrelsheikh University, and Prof. Dr. Amani Mohamed Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Naglaa Hosny Al-Ashraf, Dean of the Faculty.

The event was also attended by Prof. Dr. Wagida Hammad, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Rasha Gawish, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Mr. Mahmoud Yassin, Faculty Secretary.

Colonel Mahmoud Salah, Commander of Military Education at the University, attended the event and delivered an informative speech to the students about the heroic achievements of the Egyptian army and the great victories of the October War that have been immortalized in history to this day.

On the sidelines of the celebration, student Riham Hosny Refaat, first-year student in the Department of Educational Technology and Computer Science, was honored for winning the Best Video Competition organized by the Faculty on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of the October War victories.

The ceremony was coordinated by Prof. Dr. Amira Hesham Okasha, Assistant Professor in the Department of Music Education, in cooperation with the Youth Welfare Department led by Mr. Mohamed Omar and Ms. Dina Geris.

The celebration featured a remarkable musical performance led by Maestro Dr. Hala Mansour, Teaching Assistant in the Department of Music Education, presenting a collection of immortal patriotic melodies that illuminated the Faculty’s Seminar Hall. The performance carried a deep message of pride and patriotism, reflecting the greatness of the sacrifices made by Egypt’s soldiers during the October War.

In this context, Prof. Dr. Naglaa Hosny Al-Ashraf, Dean of the Faculty, emphasized that celebrating the anniversary of the October victories reflects the Faculty’s commitment to instilling national values in students and introducing them to Egypt’s glorious history.
She added: “We take pride in sharing this great national occasion with our students and believe in the importance of our role in promoting these values and strengthening national belonging. We pray that God protects Egypt and its people.”
