"The Faculty of Specific Education at Kafr El-Sheikh University welcomes its new students: ‘This is where creativity begins.’"

In a joyful and festive atmosphere, the Faculty of Specific Education at Kafr El-Sheikh University held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, a welcoming ceremony for its new students for the academic year 2025/2026.

The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Acting President of Kafr El-Sheikh University, and Prof. Dr. Amani Mohamed Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Naglaa El-Ashraf, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Wageda Hamed, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research.

The ceremony was organized by Prof. Dr. Tamer Kamel, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the Faculty of Specific Education, Dr. Hadir El-Desouki, Lecturer at the Department of Art Education, and Ms. Mirna Ahmed, Teaching Assistant at the Department of Art Education.
It was also supported by Mr. Mahmoud Yassin, Secretary of the Faculty, Mr. Mohamed Omar, Director of the Youth Welfare Department, and Ms. Dina Geris Sedhom, Youth Welfare Officer. The celebration was attended by a number of faculty members and teaching assistants, who warmly welcomed the new students.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim emphasized that the Faculty of Specific Education is a true beacon of creativity and a genuine gateway to the labor market locally, regionally, and internationally. He highlighted the Faculty’s distinctive mission in preparing outstanding graduates in the fields of arts, music, educational media, home economics, and educational technology, in line with the needs of society and the modern job market.

He further stressed that the Faculty represents a fundamental pillar in the university education system at Kafr El-Sheikh University, through its advanced academic and training programs that enable students to develop their skills and refine their talents. He called upon the students to actively engage in student activities, maintain seriousness and discipline, and become role models for Egyptian and Arab university students.

In the same context, Prof. Dr. Amani Shaker expressed her great joy at the beginning of a new academic year at the Faculty of Specific Education, affirming that the Faculty plays an effective role in serving the community through its outputs that blend science, creativity, and art — making its graduates ambassadors of creativity and sustainable development.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Naglaa El-Ashraf, Dean of the Faculty, welcomed the new cohort of students, stressing that the Faculty seeks to be a genuine starting point for them toward a distinguished professional future through workshops, field training, and applied projects. These, she noted, grant them practical experience and open wide horizons for them in both the regional and international job markets. She prayed for God’s protection of Egypt’s youth, that they may always remain a source of pride and creativity for the advancement of the beloved homeland.

The ceremony concluded with a clear message from the Faculty of Specific Education to its students:
“This is where creativity begins, and you are the makers of the future.”
