The Faculty of Specific Education at Kafrelsheikh University Participates in the Environmental Week and Green Entrepreneurship Activities
As part of its leading role in promoting sustainability and green entrepreneurship, the Faculty of Specific Education at Kafrelsheikh University actively participated in the Environmental Week, Entrepreneurship, and Sustainable Innovation through a special exhibition showcasing the faculty’s departments. The event was held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Abdelrazek Desouky, University President, Prof. Ismail Ibrahim, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Amani Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The event was supervised by Prof. Naglaa Hosni Al-Ashraf, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, Kafrelsheikh University, and Prof. Dalia Al-Masry, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The opening ceremony was attended by Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel-Moaty, Governor of Kafrelsheikh, and Prof. Abdelrazek Desouky, University President, along with a wide participation of university leaders, faculty deans, and academic staff. The event was organized by Dr. Rasha Gawish, Dr. Amira Okasha, Dr. Dalia Al-Maddah, Dr. Iman Abdel-Rabih, along with Eng. Mirna El-Nahas, Eng. Aya Ramadan, Eng. Shaimaa Dawood, Eng. Hala Haroun, Eng. Mayar Ahmed, Eng. Nora El-Kafoury, Eng. Riham Essam, and a group of students.
Prof. Naglaa Hosni Al-Ashraf, Dean of the Faculty, emphasized that the faculty presented an innovative model for enhancing environmental awareness and fostering student creativity through pioneering student projects that embody the concept of sustainability. Additionally, the faculty organized workshops and lectures on the role of arts and media in promoting environmental culture and supporting sustainable entrepreneurship. She also praised the vital role of exhibitions and initiatives in shaping students’ academic and personal development.
Through this active participation, the Faculty of Specific Education reaffirms its leading position in supporting national efforts toward a more sustainable university environment while equipping students with the skills to become future leaders in arts, media, and environmental entrepreneurship.
