Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of Kafrelsheikh University, inaugurated the Ramadan workshop for crafting lanterns and Ramadan decorations, titled "Ramadan Features", held at the open exhibition of the Faculty of Specific Education in celebration of the holy month of Ramadan. The event was attended by Prof. Ismail Al-Qun, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Amani Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Ali Abu Shousha, former Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Naglaa Al-Ashraf, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education; Prof. Wajida Hamad, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Dalia Al-Masry, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, along with faculty members, administrative staff, and students.
Supervision and Preparation
The workshop was supervised by Assoc. Prof. Samah Al-Refai and Eng. Mirna Al-Nahhas and prepared by the students of the distinguished program (Digital Art Education Teacher).
The exhibition was launched in a joyful Ramadan atmosphere, with the primary goal of teaching students how to craft Ramadan lanterns using minimal costs while ensuring high quality. The materials used included cardboard, paper, and Ramadan tent fabric, fostering an environment of love and optimism for the arrival of the holy month.
University President’s Remarks
Prof. Abdelrazek Desouky expressed his immense happiness with the students' creations and praised their diverse artistic talents. He extended his congratulations to the Islamic nation, beloved Egypt, and all attendees, including faculty members and students, on the occasion of Ramadan.
He further emphasized the university’s commitment to student activities and its dedication to providing all necessary support for organizing distinguished and purposeful events. He highlighted the university's efforts in showcasing and marketing students' products while enhancing the skills of creative students through various exhibitions and fostering engagement with the wider community
