The university continues its Role in the Dignified life Initiative and Encouragement of Entrepreneurship…. A Training Course for the Manufacture of Semi-automatic in Cooperation with the National Coun


 Under the patronage of the President Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Youssef Desouky, and Dr. Maya Morsi, Head of the National Council for Women, and the supervision and training of Dr. Amany Shaker, Professor of Textiles and Rapporteur of the Council’s Branch and Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, Kafrelsheikh University, a free training course on semi-automatic carpet manufacture “Hand Taft” was implemented in the educational factory at the Faculty Specific Education at the university, with the assistance of Dr. Rasha Atef and the administrator Dr Aya Ramadan, coordinated by Shahanda Kamal, and in the presence of Rabab Abu El-Diyar from the council branch.

Dr. Abdelrazek Yousef Desouky, President of the University, stresses the university administration’s interest in supporting, publishing and developing handicrafts and transforming them into small industries within the framework of the implementation of the state’s plan that aims to encourage youth and support craft professions, to provide more job opportunities and export their distinguished production abroad, based on the university’s role in community participation and encouragement of entrepreneurship.

 

Dr Shaker adds that organizing such training courses is within the framework of entrepreneurship and economic empowerment of women, and the training targets 14 women and girls from the villages of a dignified life, Motobas Center, to be a nucleus for training women in these villages.
