In its meeting today, chaired by Prof. Dr Majid
Al-Qamri, President of the University, the University Council approved the
establishment of new academic programs for the preparation of teachers in
English for the teachers of physics, chemistry, science and mathematics as well
as teachers of basic education in science and mathematics.
The
university president stated that the aim of the program is to prepare the
students scientifically, culturally and professionally to prepare them for
teaching in English. Competitive advantage in the local, Arab and international
labor market and raising the level of competence of graduates in accordance
with the requirements of the new labor market in light of the expansion of the
establishment of language schools, international schools, Japanese schools and
others.
