Under the patronage of H.E. Prof. Abdelaziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; H.E. Prof. Yehia Zakaria Eid, President of Kafrelsheikh University; and Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and under the supervision of Prof. Naglaa Hosny El-Ashraf, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education and Conference Chair, together with Prof. Wajida Mohamed Hammad, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research and Conference Rapporteur, the Faculty of Specific Education, Kafrelsheikh University, convened an expanded meeting of the Chairs and Coordinators of the Committees of the Fifth International Scientific Conference to review the final preparations for the conference entitled:
"The Integration of Specific Sciences and Artificial Intelligence for Future Foresight in Light of Sustainable Development."
The conference is scheduled to take place from 8 to 12 November 2026, with the opening ceremony to be held at the Grand Conference Hall of Kafrelsheikh University, followed by the continuation of its scientific activities in Sharm El-Sheikh, bringing together a distinguished group of researchers, experts, and specialists from Egypt and abroad.
The meeting formed part of the Faculty's intensive preparations and ongoing efforts to ensure that all scientific, organizational, administrative, technical, and media arrangements are implemented with the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency, reflecting the distinguished academic reputation of both the Faculty of Specific Education and Kafrelsheikh University.
Participants conducted a comprehensive review of the action plan for the upcoming phase, assessed the progress achieved on previously assigned tasks, and identified the responsibilities entrusted to each committee. Clear implementation timelines were established, while emphasizing the importance of continuous coordination among committee chairs and coordinators and the prompt handling of all operational requirements to ensure integrated efforts and eliminate any obstacles that might affect the successful execution of the conference.
The meeting also reviewed the progress of abstract and manuscript submission, peer-review procedures, publication arrangements, and participant registration. In addition, discussions covered preparations for organizing scientific sessions, research and artistic exhibitions, venue readiness, digital platforms, participant reception, and the provision of all logistical services throughout the conference period.
Prof. Naglaa Hosny El-Ashraf emphasized that the Fifth International Scientific Conference represents a significant milestone in the Faculty's academic and research journey and provides a valuable opportunity to present an advanced vision that keeps pace with the digital revolution and the rapid developments in artificial intelligence applications while strengthening the connection between scientific research, societal needs, labor market demands, and the Sustainable Development Goals.
She further noted that the success of an international conference of this scale cannot be achieved through individual efforts alone but rather through institutional collaboration, meticulous coordination, and effective teamwork across all committees. She commended the commitment, professionalism, and strong sense of responsibility demonstrated by the committee chairs and coordinators, as well as their continuous efforts to achieve the highest standards of organization.
Prof. El-Ashraf stressed that the coming phase requires the utmost levels of focus, discipline, and timely execution, affirming that every detail of the preparation process constitutes an integral component of the conference's overall success. She added that the final presentation of this distinguished scientific event should reflect the strength, leadership, and institutional excellence of Kafrelsheikh University, as well as its capacity to organize international conferences that respond to global developments, contribute to knowledge production, and shape future directions.
The meeting concluded with the Dean reaffirming the importance of maintaining continuous work across all conference committees during the forthcoming period, alongside close monitoring of implementation progress and the prompt resolution of any challenges to ensure the conference is delivered at the highest organizational and scientific standards.
