The University of Kafrelsheikh has ranked the seventh at the level of Egyptian Universities and No 585 at the level of world universities according to Scopus Ranking 2017, which is one of the strongest classifications of scientific research databases in the world. This distinction comes within the university’s interest in excellence in education and scientific research seeking to change the university’s identity to be a one that takes care of applied researches for community service. This classification depends on a lot of standards that can be summarized as follows:

1) Research productivity of the university and the rate of scientific publication for researchers in the university

2)  Outputs for published researches.

3)  Citations for published researches.
