International Scholarships for Young Scientists for 2016


The International Coordinating Council of UNESCO’s Man and the Biosphere Program announces about international scholarships for Man and the Biosphere Program according to the following terms:

1)      These scholarships are presented for researchers in the fields of “human and biosphere” and the priority of choice is for researchers who conduct their researches in biosphere preserve in the topic of environmental systems and water

2)      Each state of Member States of UNESCO can candidate researchers; each of them are not more than 40 years on October 31, 2016 and it is the date of receiving the requests of nomination to UNESCO headquarter in Paris

3)      The value of scholarship is five thousand dollars as a maximum (on three installments) and the scholarship does not cover the expenses of international travel

4)      The applicant should complete the research supported by the scholarship within two years at most

5)      The researcher presents in the end of research a report to national commission of UNESCO and UNESCO organization and the research undertakes the right of UNESCO in publish the results of research
