The President Meets the Delegation of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology

 Today Thursday, 25/11/2021, the President Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Dosouky meets the delegation of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology headed by Prof. Amr Farouk Abed El-Khaleq, the assistant Head of the Academy for Technological Development; Dr. Wafaa Mohammed Abed El-Rashid, Executive Director of the Technology Innovation and Commercialization Offices at the Academy, and Dr. Yasmin Abed El-Raouf, Executive Director of the Patents Office, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hasan Younis, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Ahmed Kadry, Director of the Entrepreneurship Club at the university, and Dr. Enas Jumaa, Director of the Technology Innovation and Commercialization Office.

The Entrepreneurship Day aims to help disseminate the culture of entrepreneurship among students, staff members and employees and motivate them via explaining examples of success stories for some startup companies and how to overcome some of the obstacles they may face in the labor market.

Also, as part of today's program, models of the medical services robot, fully funded from the budget of the University's TICO Office, will be delivered to the University Hospital, in preparation for its use in the floors of medical isolation for patients with the emerging corona virus, in order to reduce the medical staff in the hospital.

As well, He explains that the Entrepreneurship Day is organizing a competition to choose the best startup company from among a number of teams that were trained during the fourth idea generation camp that was held over two days.

 

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky presents the university’s shield to Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Saqr, and Prof. Dr. Amr Abdel-Khaleq, the assistant head of the Academy for Technological Development, receives it on his behalf, and he also presents the university’s shield to Prof. Dr. Amr Farouk Abed El-Khaleq, the assistant head of the Academy for Technological Development, and Dr. Wafaa Mohammed Abed El-Rasheed, the executive director of the Technology Innovation and Commercialization Office at the academy.
