Kafrelsheikh Governor and the President Witnesses the Opening of the 8th Kafrelsheikh Pharmacists Syndicate Conference


 Today Wednesday 3/11/2021, Major General Gamal Nour El-Deen, Governor of Kafrelsheikh, and Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Dosouki, President of the University, witness the opening session of the 8th Kafrelsheikh Pharmacists Syndicate Conference  entitled “Update in COVID-19” organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy in cooperation with the Kafrelsheikh Pharmacists Syndicate, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hasan Younes, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research,;Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdel-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs; Dr. Mohamed Fahmy Hussein, captain of the Kafrelsheikh Pharmacists’ Syndicate, and the conference’s head; Dr. Sawsan Salam, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Kafrelsheikh, under the supervision and rapporteur of the conference, Prof. Dr. Ramadan El-Domany, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Vices of Dean and staff members.

Major General Gamal Noor El-Deen, Governor of Kafrelsheikh, expresses his happiness for attending the 8th Kafrelsheikh Pharmacists Syndicate Conference of the Faculty of Pharmacy for the second year respectively, confirming the university’s distinction in what it offers to the students and civil society, thanking the university’s leaders, staff members and students, headed by Dr. Abdelrazek Desouk, President of the University.

As well, the Governor of Kafrelsheikh praises the joint cooperation between the university and the governorate for the benefit of citizens, especially in projects, revealing that the governorate employees the top alumni in many departments, including the geospatial unit and technological centers.

The governor also praises the distinguished role of university hospital doctors, and the efforts of the teamwork of professors, doctors, specialists, technicians, nursing staff, administrators and workers to continue the workflow in university hospitals to the fullest, and as well as the cooperation with the Directorate of Health during that exceptional period and their keenness to be present at work to continue the health services provided to the people of the governorate and neighboring provinces.

Otherwise, the president states that the conference aims to benefit from the application of the results of scientific researches in the fields of pharmacy, drug industry and other medical specialties to serve the community in its various categories, wishing success and coming up with recommendations that serve the educational process at the university.

Dr Desouky explains that the university administration pays great attention to scientific research and that the seminars, conferences and workshops are an important opportunity for the concourse of the scientific generations, the exchange of experiences and scientific communication to reach the new, thanking all those in charge of the conference.

 

Dr. Ramadan Al-Domany, conference rapporteur and Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, says that the conference includes many themes in health fields for which the community care, such as immunizations and their role, and the development of serums and vaccines to combat Corona.
