Under the authority of the president Prof
Dr Maged el Kemary; Kafrelsheikh province mayor Eng Saad el Husseni; the vice
president for the affairs of education
and students and the dean of the faculty
of agriculture Prof Dr Atef Salim, Kafrelsheikh University organizes on Tuesday
and Wednesday 14-15 /5/2013 for eighth international conference in the faculty
of Agriculture in the presence of the head of Egyptian society for plant
breeding and some of professors of Agriculture in all Egyptian Universities as
well as Arab researches from Libya and Iraq.
On the other hand, the
events begin with republican Peace followed by Prof Dr Mohamed Saad Abed el
Ati, the conference rapporteur and head of crops department, mentions that
agricultural production achieve high rates of production such as Sugar cane
besides the proportions of Egyptian exports (9 billion pounds) about
agricultural production. Prof Dr Atef Salim adds that international conference
will be held every two years in one of faculties of Agriculture to develop new
strains of crops to suit unfavorable natural conditions and long-lived strains.
Moreover, Prof Dr Maged el Kemary adds that conference aims to exchange experts
among speakers and highlight successful experiences as well as take care for
researches and studies in conferences to be applied in Egyptian Agriculture and
benefit from experience of desert agriculture in Saudi Arabia. Finally, Eng Saad
el Husseini spoke about the importance of Agriculture in state economy and
great nations based on farming, so he aspires to make Kafrelsheikh province breadbasket
of Egypt. They discuss many researches made by Egyptian and Arab researches in
the field of Agriculture.
