Dr Mahmoud Sakr, the head of scientific
Research and Technology Academy, assures that program of the next generation
scientists scholarships is the complementary link of development program system
which are currently underway for the progress of scientific research in Egypt
and its goal is to meet the needs of community of scientific research and
contribute in finding solutions for the urgent and pressing problems facing the
community in energy, food, water, industry and social researches of science and
technology management.
This came during the ceremony organized
by academy to deliver the winners of the next generation scientists
scholarships in its fourth cycle, totaling 107 winners which represents a true
launch of program which aims to rehabilitate participants of young researchers
for the leadership of scientific research in science and technology of its
different institutions which have been under the guidance of President Abdel
Fattah al-Sisi by doubling the value of
the scholarship of 1,000 to 2,000 pounds
to meet the requirements of life requirements of students during the period of
study and devote himself for only science, training and study.
As well, Dr Merritt Rustam, the general
manager of program, mentions that many students applied for this scholarship
from all Egyptian universities of Helwan University, and Monofia University,
and the University of Assuit, and Al-Azhar University, and the University of
Tanta, Alexandria University, and the University of Port Said, and the
University of Mansoura and Benha University, and the University of Zagazig, and
the University of Ain Shams, and South Valley University, and the University of
Sohag, and Beni Suef University, and the University of Kafrelsheikh, and Suez
Canal University, the British University, and the University of Cairo and
Fayoum University, and the University of Damietta.
