Kafrelsheikh University council was held on Monday 29/12/2014 under the authority of the president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary and council members. In the beginning, they congratulate Prof Dr Ali Abu Shoshaa for being appointed the vice president for community service and environment development.

The council assures the following:

1)      The need to run Arabic Language center for non-native speakers

2)      The increase of university own resources and development of human resources for employees and their skills

3)      Review financial and administrative regulations for units

4)      The increase of consulting contracts, Faculty of Engineering with governorate and other institutions of society.

5)      Conversion to electronic and information system for every unit in university beginning from medical committee.

6)      Transfer medical committee to student hospital to receive staff members

7)      Elections of students' union will held in university and faculties in the second or third week of the beginning of the second term.

8)      The council reviews the decision of the supreme council of universities about postponement of exams for students in custody in terms of allowing students in custody who wish to perform their exams in prison with relieving them of the planned attendance rates with withholding result until the performance of practical exams.
