As part of the Faculty of Nursing’s commitment to providing continuous support for its students and ensuring the smooth progress of the educational process, Professor Dr. Sabah Abu El-Fotouh, Dean of the Faculty, held the monthly meeting with internship students to discuss the key challenges they face during their clinical training and to listen to their opinions and suggestions for improving the learning and training environment in hospitals.
During the meeting, Her Excellency emphasized the importance of the internship year in shaping the nurse’s professional identity, building responsibility, and developing the ability to provide high-quality healthcare. She commended the students for their dedication and active engagement in maximizing the benefits of their field training.
The meeting was attended by the internship coordinators and members of the Internship Committee.
Prior to the meeting, Professor Dr. Abu El-Fotouh conducted a field visit to the university hospitals to monitor students’ performance. During the visit, she met with the students and discussed the challenges they encounter during their clinical training, reaffirming that the Faculty places them at the top of its priorities — as ambassadors of the Faculty in the healthcare field and the foundation of a promising nursing future.
Her Excellency stressed that the internship year is not merely a training period, but rather a journey of professional and personal growth that refines character and instills in the heart the values of compassion, belonging, and giving.
The meeting concluded with messages of encouragement and motivation, through which Professor Dr. Abu El-Fotouh expressed her pride in the students’ commitment and dedication, affirming that the Faculty will always remain their first home and steadfast supporter throughout their professional journey.
