Dr. Desouky emphasized that this accomplishment is the result of the continuous efforts exerted by the university to enhance its scientific research system and improve the quality of internationally published research. He noted that the university is progressing rapidly in implementing the goals of Egypt's Vision 2030 and the national strategy for higher education and scientific research by supporting international scientific publishing and developing research policies.

The President of Kafrelsheikh University added that the university provides continuous technical and technological support to faculty members and teaching assistants to publish their research in high-impact international journals. It also focuses on preparing laboratories for accreditation, developing the central library and IT infrastructure, organizing specialized training courses in international publishing, and providing diverse funding sources — all of which contribute to enhancing the university’s position regionally and internationally as a distinguished academic institution in education, research, and community service.

For his part, Dr. Ismail El-Qen, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, explained that the Webometrics Ranking is the largest international system for evaluating universities. It is published semi-annually, in January and July, by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). He pointed out the university's commitment to encouraging faculty members to publish in leading scientific journals indexed in global databases.
