• Learning objectives: This workshop discusses strategies to improve the clarity and readability of academic writing, as well as common mistakes non-native English speakers make when preparing manuscripts. Strategies to improve the efficiency of the writing process will also be reviewed.
 
2Logical Manuscript Structure :
 
•Learning objectives: This workshop reviews how to best structure primary research articles to ensure that the reader clearly understands the value of the study. We discuss information that should be included for transparency and reproducibility to establish the author’s credibility, as well as how to emphasize the study’s value for the field to improve the impact of the article.
 
3. Successful Pre-submission Publishing Strategies:
 
• Learning objectives: This workshop first reviews how to identify the most appropriate journal for a study and how to avoid predatory journals. We then discuss how to communicate the significance and relevance of the study to the journal editor to emphasize the suitability of the study for the target journal.
 
4. Effective Post-submission Publishing Strategies
 
• Learning objectives: This workshop predominantly covers navigating through the peer review process and preparing response letters to increase chances of acceptance. We then review strategies to take if your manuscript is rejected as well as how to promote your article after acceptance to increase its visibility in the field.
