The events of the Fifth International Conference of SMARTEX 2015 launched under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education Prof Dr Ashraf el Shihi and the president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary within the mutual cooperation between Kafrelsheikh University and the Polytechnic University of Ivanovo state of Russia and many European Universities by the participation of professors and researchers from 28 countries such as Romania, England, United States of America, India, Algeria and Tunis.

 The president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary points out during the events of this day that the embrace of the university for this conference whose session will continue during Tuesday and Thursday of this week, but is confirmation for the keenness of the university to achieve excellence and innovation through enhancing international cooperation, deepening international relations and fruitful exchange of ideas in the field of science and technology to create bright future thanking all guests of honor, partners, speakers and participants from academics, business and industry.

On the sidelines of the events of the day, fair for textile artifacts and art paintings was held for the students of the Faculty of Specific Education and during the period of the conference several workshops dealing with modern technology areas in textile industries.
