Today Sunday 31/10/2021, Under the patronage of the President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and within the “Dignified Life” initiative, the community service and environmental development sector at Kafrelsheikh University organizes a comprehensive medical convoy for the people of “Burj Moghazel” village and the neighboring villages of the Motobas Center under the supervision of the President Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Dosouky; Prof. Dr. Reda Saleh, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdel Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs, in cooperation with the Governor of Kafrelsheikh, Major General Gamal Noor El-Din, and the initiative coordinator in the governorate, in coordination with the Directorates of Youth, Sports and Health Affairs in the governorate and the local unit of the center and city of Motobas, within the initiative of a dignified life.
Prof. Dr. Tariq Abd El-Baqi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, states that the comprehensive convoy pays attention to develop health awareness under the supervision of specialized professors from the faculties of "Medicine, Nursing" and oral and Dentistry via the specializations of internal medicine, ophthalmology, Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dermatology and Venereology, psychiatry and Neurology, Pediatric and General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Urology, Neuro Surgery and others.
Prof. Dr. Tariq Abdel-Baqi also explains that all “2106” patients were examined for free by a group of distinguished and specialized doctors in various specialties and drugs were given to all patients.
As well, Prof. Dr. Reda Saleh, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, says that the convoy includes medical and nursing specialties, including examination and free drugs for citizens in the health unit in the village of “Burj Moghazel” and the neighboring villages of Motobas Center.
The Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs adds that the medical convoys organized by the university and represented by the health sector faculties are one of the most important positive steps for the community in the various administrative centers of Kafrelsheikh Governorate, via providing distinguished medical services, alleviating the suffering of travel from remote areas and working to provide health services to them with ease.
The President Prof. Dr. Abdel Razek Dosouki explains that these convoys are held within the initiative of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, “a dignified life” to provide medical, counseling and awareness services in various free fields to citizens in remote areas and to confirm the university’s societal and positive role for the people of the villages within its scope, as the university aims to promote health, social, environmental and intellectual development, and to provide a distinguished medical service for those who are unable, carried out by specialized professors from various faculties, in order to benefit from the university’s specialized scientific competencies.
