The President confirms that the vaccine is available for those who request vaccination from the medical teams, and that is available 24 hours and optional. A member of the medical team gets the vaccination after signing the informed consent and answering questions about his health status and whether he/she suffers from any diseases or has symptoms during the day.
As well, the vice president for education and students’ affairs Prof Dr Mohammad Abed El-All witnesses the vaccination of some members of the medical staff, including doctors and nurses, and follows-up the procedures from the beginning of the pre-vaccination stage, starting with measuring vital signs such as pressure and temperature, and checking on the general health of the recipient until the stage of following up the individual after receiving the vaccine.
Dr Abed El-All assures the medical staff on the safety of the vaccine and the necessity for everyone to obtain it to protect the medical staff from infection, indicating that the vaccine is available free of charge to all medical staff.
He explains to the medical staff the benefits of receiving the vaccine and that he begins to encourage everyone to receive it, stressing that the country has chosen the best types of vaccines available in the world and that it has provided the material and logistical capabilities to support the medical teams with the vaccine.
Otherwise, Dr Taha Ismail, the dean of Faculty of Medicine and Dr Hatem El-Gohary, the executive director of hospitals, come at the forefront of the medical staff who received the vaccination after registering the required form for informed consent to receive the vaccine, reassuring everyone about the safety of the vaccine.
Dr Ismail also calls on all medical staff in hospitals to quickly register on the electronic system to receive the vaccine according to the established procedures, reassuring everyone about the safety of the vaccine.
