Today Thursday 20/2/2020, Faculty of Medicine organizes the first annual conference entitled “Faculty of Medicine…….Achievements and Future Goals” under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Prof Dr Khalid Abed el Ghaffar and the President Prof Dr Abed El-Raziq Dousoki in the presence of the Vice President for Post-Graduation Studies and Research Prof Dr Hasan Hasan Younis; the Vice President for Community Service and Environment Development Prof Dr Reda Salih; the Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University, Prof Dr Nisreen Salah; the former Dean of Faculty of Medicine at Menoufia Prof Dr Ahmed Gamal El-Deen, Dr. Sawsan Sallam, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Kafrelsheikh, the Syndicate of Doctors of Kafrelsheikh, Dr Amr Abu Samra, and professors from various faculties of medicine in Egyptian universities in various specializations.

Prof Dr Mohammed Abed El-All, the Dean of Faculty of Medicine, welcomes the President of the University, the Vices President, the former Vice-Dean of the faculty, the deans, the vices of dean, staff members and all  delegated staff members from Tanta and Mansoura Universities and he also thanks the former university and faculty administration and everyone who contributed to the success of Faculty of Medicine system.

At the beginning of the President’s speech, Prof Dr Abed El-Raziq Dousoki welcoms the attendants in the hospitality of Kafrelsheikh University to participate in this conference, which includes a distinguished group of professors, doctors and lecturers specializing in various universities and Ministry of Health Hospitals to raise the level of health services to society in the field of liver disease, digestive system and infectious diseases via reviewing all the important medical and scientific developments in diagnosing and treating diseases, presenting his thanks and appreciation to the scientific and organizational committee of the conference for their distinguished efforts in preparing the conference.

Otherwise, the President states that  Faculty of Medicine aims to organize this conference to improve and develop the level of health and medical services as well as the level of efficiency of the service providers, including doctors, practitioners and specialized staff members via communication, exchange of experiences and keep abreast of developments and modern treatment techniques that help all workers in this field  to develop their work field academically and remedially.

As well, Dr Dousoki explains that the university administration pays a great attention to scientific research and that seminars, conferences and workshops are an important opportunity to meet scientific generations, exchange experiences and scientific communication to reach the new and it is also keen on developing the skills of staff members via continuous training and organizing scientific conferences that aim to discuss new research as this will be reflected in the university’s students, graduates and postgraduate students, praising Faculty of Medicine’s work and its prominent role, especially in community service and advancing the medical and health system in the governorate.

At the end of the conference, Faculty of Medicine honors the President Prof Dr Abed El Raziq Dousoki, Dr Hassan Younis, Dr Reda Saleh, Dr Maged el Kemary, the former President of Kafrelsheikh University, Dr Hassan Al-Batea, the former dean of the faculty, Dr Nisreen Salah, Dean of Mansoura Medicine, Dr Ahmed Jalal, Dr Reda Bayoumi, Dr Khaled Ismail, Dr Ali Abu Shosha and Dr Muhammad Abu Wali, the former Vices of President.

Certificates of appreciation were also distributed to the professors of Faculties of Medicine from other universities for their positive contribution to establishing and supporting the faculty.
