The president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary opens today Thursday 20/4/2017 a meeting for basic sciences sector committee emerging from the supreme council of universities held at the Faculty of Science to discuss many important topics related to the faculties of Science in Egyptian Universities.

As well, Prof Dr Maged el Kemary begins his speech by welcoming the committee members expressing his happiness for holding the monthly meeting of the committee in the hosting of Kafrelsheikh University, adding that the university works to maximize the use of available resources and exploit them at the maximum degree whether at the level of constructions and for the service of educational process.

He points out that the university has 18 faculties after annexing Institute of Nanotechnology and Science and the next month, they will being to work in Institute of Drug Development and Discovery as the university is interested in future sciences after it has strong infrastructure in terms of research aspects.

On the other hand, he stresses that Kafrelsheikh University has changed its identity from a university that only grants certificates to a research university through building the human capabilities and paying attention to distinguished young researchers by structuring the human cadres inside the university in research groups to maximize the idea of teamwork and research teams as well as preparing the infrastructure of scientific research of laboratories and research centers.

All committee members praise the honorable appearance of the Faculty of Sciences in particular and the university as a whole, expressing their astonishment with the special equipment of labs and Institute of Nanotechnology and Science.
