The Formation of Scientific Council and Increasing Insurance Feature for Students to 40 Thousand Pounds

Kafrelsheikh University council under the authority of the president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary agreed to increase the insurance feature for the legitimate heirs of students in the case of the death of students as a result of the accident to 40 thousand pounds instead of 25 thousand pounds or in the case of permanent total disability as a result of an accident. The council also agreed to increase insurance feature in the case that the student injured with partial deficit that prevents him/her from movement or writing lectures to 20 thousand pounds instead of 12.5 thousand pounds.

The council agreed the proposal of the president by forming the scientific council of the university which take the tasks of proposal of strategic plan of scientific research, establishing the research groups in the faculties and institutions as well as the proposal of establishing labs, centers and institutions of scientific research in the university, coordination among the centers of scientific research and putting general plan for it as well as organizing the link with the centers of scientific research outside the university.

The council also agreed to transfer Dr Reda Bayoumy Bastawisi, the assistant professor in Department of cardiovascular diseases in the Faculty of Medicine, Banha University to the Faculty of Medicine at Kafrelsheikh University and Dr Tarek Abed el Mohsen el Saied, the assistant professor in Electrical Engineering Department in the Faculty of Engineering at Assuit University to the Faculty of Engineering at Kafrelsheikh University. The council also agreed to transfer Dr Mohamed Ali el Husseini, lecturer of Internal Medicine; Dr Tamer el Saeed Saif, lecturer of digestive system and Dr Saad el Dousouky, lecturer of ear, nose and throat from the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University to the Faculty of Medicine at Kafrelsheikh University.
