Under the patronage of:

1)      Dr Ashraf Mohamed el Shihi, the minister of higher education and scientific research

2)      Dr Maged el Kemary, Kafrelsheikh University President

3)      Dr el Saied Mohamed Hegazy, the vice president for post-graduation studies and research and the conference head

Kafrelsheikh University held the fifth international Conference of SMARTEX in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Ivanovo state of Russia on 23-25 in November 2015.

The president mentions that he will participate in the events of the conference of professors and researchers from Romania, England, United States, India, Algeria and Tunisia.

This conference will contribute to transfer and provide new technology in the field of textile industry to contribute to develop the industry of textile in Mahala and the industry of carpet in Foua and surrounding cities at Kafrelsheikh.

On the sidelines of the events of the conference, some products of companies will be presented and the university will sign cooperation agreements among universities participants in this conference and textile companies in developing this industry.
