The president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary announces that it has been allocated about 11 acres next to university hospital to start building specialized medical centers.

He assures that due to poor quality of health system in Kafrelsheikh and university is an integral part of society and its permanent quest to solve its problems, university begins to establish five faculties (Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physical Therapy and Dentistry) as well as student hospital, outpatient clinics of the Faculty of Physical Therapy and University Hospital, which is the nucleus of specialized medical centers established when the necessary support is available.

Finally, he mentions that it is about to develop Agricultural Engineering Department to meet the departments' requirements of workshops and engineering drawing galleries.
