“The Skin Lesion is the Other Side of the IBD Coin.” The event featured a distinguished group of professors from the faculty, with scientific sessions including: Prof. Hassan El-Bateh, Head of the Department of Hepatology and Gastroenterology, who delivered a lecture entitled “Dermatological Manifestations in IBD.” Assoc. Prof. Ibrahim Amer, Assistant Professor at the Department of Hepatology and Gastroenterology, who presented “EIM in IBD: Role of Teamwork and Special Focus on Dermatological Diseases.” Dr. Dina Sanoun, Lecturer of Dermatology and Venereology, who delivered a lecture entitled “Journey Challenges of IBD Management Through a Skin Lens.” The scientific day also included presentations of clinical case studies with the participation of teaching assistants, providing an opportunity for scientific discussion and exchange of expertise between different specialties. This event comes as part of the faculty’s ongoing efforts to promote academic and research collaboration and to advance diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in the field of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) and their associated dermatological manifestations.
